Kerem Metzudat Tefen 2018 comes from Kishor Winery in the village of Kishorit, in the Upper Western Galilee. The name refers to the Metzudat Tefen vineyard, and the ruined fortress on the label is Tefen Fortress. It is a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

Deep and layered, with dark fruit, spice and savoury notes that open up in the glass. With a few years of bottle age the 2018 is drinking well now. Great with roast meats and rich dishes.
