Origin: Chateau Fourcas Dupre, Listrac-Medoc, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank – the Hautes Terres cuvee comes from the estate’s highest plots of gravel and clay-limestone.

Vintage: 2022 was a hot, dry year in Bordeaux that produced small, concentrated berries; the wines are rich and ripe with firm structure, among the best Left Bank vintages of the last decade.

Why it’s good: deep dark-fruit and cedar notes with the fresh, grippy tannins Listrac is known for. A serious, age-worthy kosher Medoc.
