Chateau La Tour Carnet Haut-Medoc Grand Cru Classe 2015

Chateau La Tour Carnet is a Fourth Growth (4eme Grand Cru Classe) of the Haut-Medoc, owned by Bernard Magrez, with a history stretching back to the 12th century. The wine is a classic Medoc blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, aged in oak. 2015 was an outstanding Bordeaux vintage: rich and ripe with black cherry, cassis, tobacco and cedar, polished tannins and a long finish. A classified-growth kosher Bordeaux at a remarkable price.
