Chateau Greysac Medoc 2017

Chateau Greysac is a classic Medoc from the Hameau de By, one of the most northerly vineyards of the Medoc peninsula, where the Gironde estuary meets the Atlantic. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from vines around 40 years old, aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The chateau calls 2017 a surprising vintage: a beautiful fruity expression with plenty of freshness, supple and elegant tannins and delicious oak flavours. Rated 89-91 by Vinous (Neal Martin). Lovely with a barbecue, grilled tuna steak or a morel risotto.
