Origin: Golan Heights Winery, from cool high-elevation vineyards on the northern Golan – the Katzrin label sits just below the flagship Yarden range.

Vintage: the 2023 season on the high Golan was cool and steady, preserving the citrus freshness and mineral edge the vineyard is known for.

Why it’s good: ripe pear, apple and citrus layered over toasty oak; rich yet crisp. One of Israel’s most decorated Chardonnays.
