Origin: Les Roches de Yon is the second wine of Chateau Yon-Figeac, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe estate on Bordeaux’s Right Bank.

Vintage: 2021 was a cooler, classic Bordeaux vintage – fresher and more elegant than the hot years, with bright fruit and fine balance.

Why it’s good: all the polish of a classified Saint-Emilion at a second-wine price; supple red fruit, silky tannins and a clean mineral finish.
