Chateau Le Crock Saint-Estephe 2023

Chateau Le Crock 2023 is a Saint-Estephe from the Medoc’s northernmost appellation, blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with touches of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The estate is a Cru Bourgeois owned by the Cuvelier family of Chateau Leoville Poyferre, whose classed-growth expertise shows in the wine’s polish.

The 2023 Bordeaux vintage was warm and generous, giving ripe, well-structured wines – and Saint-Estephe, with its clay soils, handled the heat particularly well.

Deep black fruit with cedar and spice and Saint-Estephe’s trademark firm backbone – excellent with roast beef or game.
