Le Carillon d’Angelus Saint-Emilion 2022

Le Carillon d’Angelus is the second wine of Chateau Angelus, one of Saint-Emilion’s finest estates, family-owned for over 230 years. A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, grown on dedicated vineyards in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes and the gravelly Figeac sector. The 2022 vintage is fresh, bright and vibrant, with cherries, plum, lifted florals and a silky, refined finish. It scores an average of 93/100 from the critics, including 94-95 points from James Suckling. A serious Right Bank claret with real finesse.
